How to sell parts and accessories on Facebook

Selling automotive parts and accessories on Facebook is a lot easier than you may think.

There are several tools and resources that can allow you to transform your company's Facebook page into an online selling machine. Here are a couple of resources that you’ll want to consider.

Facebook Offers

Customers interact with businesses on Facebook to BUY things. This isn’t my personal opinion. This is according to an IBM social media study. According to the IBM study, customers are visiting your company's Facebook page to find coupons and deals.

One way you can take advantage of this is through Facebook Offers. These are discounts that you can post on your company's Facebook Page for free. Customers can then claim these offers by printing off an email coupon or showing the offer on their smartphone at your store. You can see an example below.

This is an excellent way to drive sales via Facebook. To find out more about Facebook Offers, I would recommend reading my post “Create Discount Coupons with Facebook Offers” on the AfterMarketer Club Blog

Custom Store Tab

Another great way to sell parts and accessories is by creating a custom Facebook ShopTab. This allows you to directly sell products on your company's Facebook page via a custom tab. You can see an example below.

It’s an excellent way to showcase and sell your parts and accessories.

In order to use this feature, you must purchase a subscription from ShopTab. They’re reasonably priced. A $10/month subscription allows you to list up to 500 products on your company's Facebook page. Installation may require a little programming support if you’re not computer savvy.

These are my favorite two ways to market and sell automotive parts and accessories on Facebook. At AfterMarketer Club, we’ve used and tested these tools with our clients and have had great results. I recommend that you try them.
