Pets of Insignia Group | Insignia Group

At Insignia Group, our pets are basically our co-workers.

They pop up unannounced in video calls, steal our lunch, nap in our chairs, and undoubtedly make the workday a whole lot better! Whether it’s a dog snoring at our feet or a cat climbing across the keyboard again, pets have become a regular part of the work-from-home vibe.

Introducing a few of our favorite supporting characters: the pets of Insignia Group.

1. Meet Whiskey Dean, the Havanese heartthrob. Whiskey loves showing off his training skills, snagging patches of sunlight for his hourly nap, and charming your literal socks off. Just try feeling down while you look at Whiskey. It can’t be done. It’s science.

2. Meet Ruger, a 100-pound Pyrenees nobleman with serious stranger danger spidey senses. Favorite activities include barking at fallen leaves (you don’t know who you can trust), and attempting to swim in every body of water or something that resembles one. Except the bath. That’s terrifying.

3. This is Smoky. Smoky has seen some things…mostly care, support, and a reliable food source. He was found abandoned under a house ten years ago and now lives in a loving home where he’s snuggled like a baby, though he doesn’t want you to know it. He has a reputation to protect.

4. Meet Cookie. Cookie just celebrated her 2nd birthday and doesn’t want you to be jealous that her life is probably better than yours. Do your curls cascade down your back in soft waves? No. Do you look truly majestic in a paper hat? Also no. Those are characteristics reserved for Cookie only.

5. Meet Loki, a nine-year-old distinguished gentleman. Loki knows things that can’t be known by mere mortals. His ancestry is Roti-Lab mix with some boxer and pit sprinkled in to keep things interesting. Loki lives with Addison’s Disease, requiring him to keep a low-stress lifestyle, which he is happy to do. The king-sized bed belongs to Loki, and so do our hearts.

6. Meet Kumo and Meeka, two amicable senior citizens who are unbothered by the state of the world. Kumo and Meeka live, laugh, and love. They are a vocal pair and aren’t afraid to express themselves, loudly and consistently. They tolerate their human siblings as much as one can tolerate being usurped. Favorite pastimes include communing with nature and following their parents from room to room.

8. Meet Mrs. Bighead. The Mrs. is an Axolotl, which is perhaps the most charismatic amphibian that’s ever lived. Mrs. Bighead enjoys a large tank all to herself, which she frequently rearranges because aesthetics are important. This Mexican aquatic salamander is more charming than most people we know, and lives life with a glass all the way full mentality. You can count on a smile from Mrs. Bighead anytime you pass by her tank.

9. Say hello to Molly. Sometimes we save the best for last, and sometimes…well, nevermind. Molly is a Goldendoodle with boundless energy and long, powerful legs. She uses said legs to gallop through the home, jump unnaturally high in the air, and punt you in the stomach with two front paws on your arrival. This is her best smile.

At Insignia Group, pets aren’t just welcome—they’re part of the culture. Whether they’re lounging in our laps, keeping watch from the window, or adding unexpected flair to staff meetings, our furry (and finned!) co-workers bring a whole lot of personality to our daily grind. From regal retrievers to sassy salamanders, each pet reminds us to slow down, enjoy the moment, and always make time for belly rubs.
