Project Manager - Rock Hill, SC

 Here at Insignia Group, we specialize in providing accessory sales solutions, consulting and training. By using our vehicle personalization system, automotive dealerships can easily manage accessory sales, ensuring dealerships can easily profit from automotive accessory sales effectively. As our Project Manager, you will work closely with the development team, helping ensure products and updates are launched in a timely manner.

 The Project Manager oversees the planning, coordination, implementation, finalization, and launch of short and long-term projects according to stated specifications and deadlines while keeping the project within budgeted resources. This position maintains ultimate responsibility for assuring that all products are defect-free and compliant with technical specifications.  Oversight of project, process, and technical documentation are included.

 Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Define the scope of the project in collaboration with both senior management and the product team.
  • Create a detailed work plan which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers
  • Develop a schedule for project completion that effectively allocates the resources to the activities, to be revised as necessary
  • Determine the objectives and measures upon which the project will be evaluated at its completion
  • In consultation with the appropriate manager, select staff with appropriate skills for the project activities
  • Execute the project according to the project plan
  • Develop forms and records to document project activities
  • Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project
  • Maintain communication to update stakeholders including both the client and appropriate staff within the organization on the progress of the project
  • Review the quality of the work completed with the project team on a regular basis to ensure that it meets the project standards
  • Ensure that the project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality
  • Evaluate the outcomes of the project as established during the planning phase

Additional Responsibilities

  • Work with the product team to maintain product consistency throughout product cycle, to include the design, define and build phases through quality checkpoints and testing
  • Create a roadmap for the development of core products and internal solutions
  • Develop process flows for mapping out product use cases

  • Understanding of Project Management Lifecycle
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Must have a desire for achieving excellence in customer satisfaction, process and product quality and reliability
  • Communicate Effectively: Listen, speak and write in a clear, thorough and timely manner using appropriate and effective communication tools and techniques
  • Must be extremely detail-oriented with respect to documentation and communication
